Garden Projects is run by Asher Gilding who after a career as a Chef in Tasmania decided to change careers and delve into the world of horticulture.

He gained his qualification at the renowned Hamilton Gardens and then honed his craft at TreeChurch Gardens in Ohaupo. Past projects also include establishing a kichen garden at the Lindis Lodge and creating a wildflower garden and cottage style garden at Oamaru Public Gardens.

Asher and his wife Franca settled the area in 2024 and purchased a 25 acre property which they have big plans for. There is an established orchard on the property as well as groves of birches, elms and alders.
